COAL COMB WITH STRAWBERRY HEAD. A variety of folk selection, author — Alla Khvostenok (Belarus). A new addition from the "comb" series. A tall indeterminate tomato, reaching about 1.5 m in open ground. The bush is vigorous, with thick stems and developed foliage, causing virtually no problems during cultivation. The yield is high and stable in any weather. The fruits are large, averaging 200-250 g, with individual specimens up to 350 g. The shape is flat-comb-like, with pronounced ribs near the stem.
The coloration is striking: the lower part is dark crimson, the top is rich inky, covered with anthocyanin, creating the impression of "burning coals." There are no green shoulders; the fruits ripen completely. The flesh is juicy and at the same time meaty, with a strong fruity aroma. The taste is very sweet, spicy, with a pleasant tartness, harmonious and rich. The variety is valued for its unusual shape, expressive coloration, and high taste qualities.
