DAMASCUS BLACK. An unusual new variety with a beautiful name inspired by Damascus, one of the oldest cities in the world. The variety immediately attracts attention with its compact plant, reaching about 1 m in height, and neat simple trusses, each producing 4–5 fruits. The tomatoes are round, smooth, uniform, and weigh around 200 g. When fully ripe, the fruits develop a deep brown-black color, giving them a very striking appearance. They are firm and hold their shape well, while the flesh remains tender and pleasant in texture. The flavor is harmonious, rich, and well balanced, without excessive juiciness.
The variety is also highly productive, yielding up to 8 kg per plant. The combination of firm skin, tender flesh, and expressive flavor makes these tomatoes an excellent choice for fresh eating and attractive presentation. Thanks to its compact growth and consistent fruiting, the variety is particularly well suited to cultivation in greenhouses and plastic-covered shelters. It will be especially appealing to those who enjoy chocolate-colored and dark-fruited tomato varieties with an unusual appearance.
