DARK GALAXY, USA. Variety created by Brad Gates. Mid-early tomato, medium-strong plant, 1.2 meters tall, stems not thick, 5–6 fruits per cluster. Shape is round. Very beautiful and unique coloring: when fully ripe, an inky anthocyanin spreads around the stem. An exotic variety with a fantastic color pattern. Determinate, mid-season, productive. Dense foliage, eye-catching and beautiful round fruits weighing up to 120 g.
As they ripen, blue-purple spots appear on the red background, over which golden dots and streaks emerge, resembling a whimsical image of a galaxy. Delicious, sweet, and fragrant. The lower part of the fruit is brick-red with golden specks and strokes. Truly a starry galaxy! The flesh is buttery, deep pink, and tender. The flavor is harmonious, sweet with slight acidity and a light fruity aftertaste. Top marks for beauty!
