DEWEESE STREAKED. A family heirloom from the USA. Mid-season, high-yielding variety with strong plants reaching 1.5–1.6 m in height. The fruits are large, bicolored, weighing 300–700 g. The shape is flattened-round, with slight ribbing near the stem. The skin is orange with crimson-red blotches. Inside, the fruits are multicolored. Juicy and moderately firm, the flesh is buttery with few seeds. Taste is excellent — very sweet with a slight tang, rated 5+ stars.
A mid-season large bicolor. The plant is sturdy, stems are strong, with 3–4 fruits per cluster. Yield is above average. Fruit shape is heart-flattened; can be flat or round-flat. Main color is glossy yellow. Slight ribs may radiate from the stem. Very fragrant when cut! Rich, balanced between acidity and sweetness, with dense flesh that doesn’t leak. Highly resistant to late blight.
