DOLCE DE ESPAÑA. A mid-season sweet pepper variety with large, showy fruits and excellent taste qualities. From sowing to the first harvest takes about 95-98 days. The plant is vigorous, well-foliated, yet does not become overgrown with side shoots, which facilitates care and ensures good fruit illumination. The color at full ripeness is bright, rich red.
The fruits are very large, 20-25 cm long and 6-7 cm wide at the stem, cone-cylindrical in shape, with slight ribbing and a rounded tip. The walls are of medium thickness (4-5 mm), the flesh is juicy, aromatic, with a pronounced sweet taste and characteristic pepper aroma. The variety is undemanding, produces consistently, and is suitable for fresh consumption, baking, and processing.
