DWARF 1999. An early-ripening dwarf variety bred by Bill Yoder. The plant is compact, with potato-type leaves, reaching a height of up to 70 cm in open ground. The seedlings are very decorative, sturdy, and neat, developing well from early stages. The variety is distinguished by stability and is excellent for both open ground and container cultivation. Fruits form in clusters of 5-7 pieces, often with forked clusters as well, which additionally increases yield. As a result, the variety stands out for its very high yield within its group.
At the beginning of ripening, the tomatoes have a lilac-purple color with anthocyanin, then become yellow with anthocyanin shoulders. The fruits are round, small, weighing 10-15 g, but there are so many that they literally cover the entire plant. The fruits are uniform, neat, with excellent appearance. The taste is superb — rich, sweet, harmonious, with a confident 5-point rating in taste tests. Dwarf 1999 — an ideal choice for pots, balconies, terraces, and compact beds, combining decorativeness, early ripening, and excellent taste. Another masterpiece from the American master!
