DWARF BANANA TOES, USA. A 2020 novelty from the "Speckly" series. This variety was developed by Craig LeUllier and named by Gina McDermott. It is a mid-season tomato with excellent yield. Clusters produce 4–6 fruits each. The tomatoes are golden-yellow, elongated with a small pointed tip. This variety is highly disease resistant.
The fruits have a long shelf life, and their flavor intensifies a few days after harvest. Suitable for drying and canning. The plants are very compact, growing 45–60 cm tall. The fruits resemble classic Italian-style tomatoes but are yellow in color. The taste is richly sweet with fruity notes. Fruit weight ranges from 60 to 80 grams.
The flesh is tender, with a soft and pleasant flavor. It is recommended to sow indoors at a depth of 5 mm about 6–8 weeks before the last frost. Gradually acclimate seedlings outdoors before transplanting after the frost risk has passed. Also grows well in 10–12 liter pots.
