DWARF BLAZING BEAUTY. An interesting dwarf tomato variety developed by crossing two well-known tomatoes — Golden Dwarf Champion and the large-fruited variety Elbe. The initial breeding work was carried out by Australian breeder Patrina Nuske Small, and the resulting line was originally given the working name Tipsy. Further selection and stabilization were undertaken by renowned American breeder Craig LeHoullier, who later named the variety Radiant Beauty, highlighting the unusually bright color of its fruits.
The variety was introduced in 2014. It is a productive, mid-season tomato with a compact standard-type plant. When grown outdoors, the bush reaches approximately 80 cm in height, while in a greenhouse it can grow to around 1 m. The potato-leaf foliage gives the plant a distinctive appearance. The bush is strong, produces well-developed fruit trusses and has a long fruiting period, allowing the harvest to continue for a substantial part of the season.
The fruits are smooth and flattened-round, turning a rich, bright orange color when fully ripe. They have an attractive appearance, juicy flesh, excellent flavor and a pronounced pleasant aroma. Dwarf Radiant Beauty combines a compact plant, good productivity, long fruiting and brightly colored, aromatic fruits, making it an excellent choice for fresh eating as well as for collections of dwarf tomato varieties.
