DWARF BROWN №9. A collectible, mid-season tomato variety from the Dwarf Tomato Project series, developed by American breeder Mafa Bailey. The plant is determinate, compact, and sturdy, with a standard growth habit. It typically reaches 80–110 cm in height and has distinctive potato-leaf foliage. The fruits are flattened-round and rich copper-brown in color, weighing around 150–300 g on average, with some tomatoes reaching up to 400 g.
The flesh is meaty and juicy, with a slightly sweet flavor and a rich, pronounced tomato aroma. The variety is known for its high yield and abundant, well-synchronized fruit set. It is suitable for growing outdoors, in greenhouses, and in large containers or pots with a capacity of at least 10 liters. Extensive pruning is not necessary, although supporting the branches is recommended due to the weight of the fruits.
