DWARF BUDDY'S HEART, USA. Mid-season variety with large, rugose leaves. Produces a great number of beautiful heart-shaped fruits. Tomatoes are red, weighing 100–200 grams, very meaty, with a rich and well-balanced flavor. Plant height in open ground up to 1 meter. Dense, meaty fruits with a rich, balanced flavor. Perfect for canning; the fruit texture resembles that of plum tomatoes.

Named in honor of his beloved chocolate Labrador Buddy, this variety was selected and named by Craig LeHoullier while working with the “Speckly” family. Many volunteers of the Dwarf Tomato Project contributed to its development, including Nancy Ruhl, Susan Oliverson, David Robinson, Mickie Pasko-Powell, Paul Fish and Bill Minkey. Can be grown both outdoors and in greenhouses.
