DWARF DAINTY ISABEL. A mid-season, high-yielding variety developed in 2020 by Australian breeder Patrina Nuske Small by crossing Summertime Gold and Sleeping Lady. It combines a compact growth habit with excellent flavour and unusually coloured fruit. The plants are sturdy and grow up to 80 cm tall, making them suitable for growing in garden beds and greenhouses. The fruits are flat-round, usually weighing up to 150 g, with some reaching 200 g.
When ripe, the tomatoes develop a rich, dark purple colour with a distinct chocolate tint. The flesh is pinkish-purple, very juicy and tender. The flavour is sweet and full-bodied, with a pleasant hint of acidity and delicate berry notes. Thanks to its high yield, compact plants and distinctive fruit colour, this variety is an excellent choice for anyone who appreciates tasty, unusual tomatoes for fresh eating.
