DWARF DELTA DIVER. Breeder: Blane Horton. A mid-early, very beautiful and striking bicolor variety. One of the most vibrant colorations of the season! The fruits have a flattened, ribbed shape, all dense and firm, with no cracks or green shoulders — simply perfect in appearance. The outer skin is glossy, vivid, red-purple with green striping all over the fruit.
Inside, the flesh is stunningly bright: bronze with a vivid scarlet-red center — absolutely eye-catching! Insanely beautiful — I admire them all season long. The plant is strong, with a thick stem and a dense structure. The height is far from “dwarf” — about 1.8 meters in open ground, though the foliage is compact.
Each cluster holds 3–4 fruits, weighing 250–300 g, and the overall yield is average. The plant is trouble-free and doesn’t require much care or pruning. The taste is simply honey-like — very juicy, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. You drink up every drop of the flesh and immediately look for the next frui. Unforgettable and incredibly sweet!
