DWARF FIREBIRD SWEET. One of the outstanding varieties from the Dwarf Tomato project. This is a new, mid-season cultivar with a unique appearance and pleasant flavor. The plants are compact and determinate, reaching about 70 cm in height when grown outdoors. Suckering is minimal. Each truss forms 4–6 fruits weighing 80-100 g. Grows well both in open ground and containers.
The fruits are round-flattened, deep pink with striking golden stripes. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and has a mild fruity aroma. These tomatoes are not only delicious but also decorative — perfect for table presentation. The variety was developed by crossing Dwarf Wild Fred (F4) and Beauty King. The hybridization was carried out by Vince Lavallo at Wild Boar Farms, USA.
Originally known as Beauty, the variety received its poetic name in 2013 thanks to Craig LeHoullier, a leading member of the Dwarf Tomato Project. It was introduced to the public in 2016. This is an indeterminate, tree-type plant with characteristic rugose foliage. It bears fruit from mid-season until the first frost. A reliable choice for growers looking for steady yields and attractive fruit.
