DWARF LAURA’S BOUNTY. The most productive dwarf variety of 2023. Mid-season, with plants reaching up to 70 cm tall. Fruit weight ranges from 80 to 200 g. Leaves are wrinkled; the bush is dense, ornamental, and produces heavily over a long period. Fruits are elongated and ochre-colored. Very meaty, moderately juicy, with a pleasant, balanced flavor free of acidity. Resistant to cracking in variable weather. They are attractive, spotless, and boast a stunning and unusual color. Fruits have small seed cavities with few seeds. One of the most blight-resistant varieties - for which it earns top marks.
Average fruit weight is 80-100 g, though some reached up to 200 g. The leaf is thick and firm, effectively shielding fruits from the sun. All clusters are dense and fully filled, with no gaps. Each cluster bears 5-7 fruits. Shape ranges from plump plum to elongated. Selected and named by Susan Oliverson. Released in 2019. Part of the Leggy family, it was bred from Orange Banana crossed with a Lazy-type variety by Sherry Long. The name was given by Susan Oliverson. The variety is mid-early. From the first clusters, it was clear how prolific the plant was. Top rating for yield!
Truly outstanding productivity! The color is a unique blend of honey-mustard that matures into golden ochre. The skin is firm but softens quickly when pressed. Flesh is rich pistachio in color, tender, juicy, and meaty. Seed cavities are located just beneath the skin and filled with thick gel. The taste is mild and delicate, with no sharp acidity. One of the most productive dwarfs of the season. Highly recommended!
