DWARF LEPRECHAUN KUZYA F5. A new collector variety from Latvian breeder Tatjana Naglė. It is one of the lines obtained from the cross-pollination of VT-16 Brown × Dwarf DSA. The variety is mid-season and stands out for its highly unusual and vivid fruit coloration with neon shades of green and yellow. The plant is strong and spreading, reaching about 1.5 m in height when grown outdoors, although it may remain shorter under other growing conditions. The plant produces good fruit trusses, usually carrying 4–5 tomatoes each. The fruits are predominantly heart-shaped, ranging from classic hearts to flattened and rounded-heart forms.
Fruit weight may vary depending on growing conditions and the particular line, but is generally around 100–250 g. The coloration is particularly striking and complex, combining emerald, green and yellow shades, making the fruits look bright and unusual even on the plant. When cut open, the flesh is rich emerald green, uniform, very meaty and has small seed chambers. Dwarf Leprechaun Kuzya has a rich, distinctly tomato-like flavour that is sweet and juicy, with a mild pleasant acidity and fruity aromatic notes. The flesh is dense and meaty while remaining juicy and enjoyable for fresh eating. This unusual dwarf combines decorative fruits, original coloration, impressive size and rich flavour.
