DWARF PENNY LANE. A new variety from 2022, a unique hybrid created by crossing the varieties Pit Viper × Rebel Starfighter Prime. This variety was developed by the well-known American breeder Blane Horton. The plant is mid-season, determinate (stocky), with simple leaves and a compact height of about 1 m, making it ideal for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. Each cluster forms 6-8 fruits, whose weight varies from 40 to 90 g. The fruits have an unusual chocolate color with a contrasting bright green pattern, which sometimes covers almost the entire surface.
The skin of the fruits is dense, thanks to which they ripen well and tolerate transportation excellently. The flesh has a juicy texture: a bright raspberry core stands out vividly against the green background, creating a spectacular contrast. The taste of the fruits is top-notch – rich, fruity, sweet with a slight acidity, deserving the highest rating. This variety is especially suitable for lovers of exclusive decorative-flavored tomatoes who appreciate compact plants, stable yields, and the original color of the fruits.
