DWARF PINK OPAL. This dwarf variety was selected and named by Susan Oliverson. Craig LeHoullier and Carol Knapp also contributed to the project. Mid-season, determinate, and high-yielding. The fruits are pink, without spots, rot or cracks; they are firm, resistant to rotting, and good for transportation. Small in size, only 30–80 g, but with an excellent flavor — very pleasant, sweet and aromatic. Bush height up to 0.8 m. These fruits are for pure enjoyment.
A fairly recent variety, developed between 2008 and 2017 as part of the Dwarf Tomato Project. One of the newer crosses from the ‘Muddy’ line, derived from ‘Golden Dwarf Champion’ × ‘Black Cherry’, created by Ray South in 2008. Released to the public in 2018. Pink fruits, cherry to cocktail-sized. Excellent flavor. Compact tree-like plant with regular foliage and indeterminate growth. We recommend this variety as very productive. Heavy mid-season yields.
