DWARF PURPLE HEART, USA. A variety introduced in 2015 as part of the Dwarf Tomato Project. Vigorous determinate plants with crinkled regular leaf foliage. The fruits are heart-shaped and deep purple in color. Meaty texture with excellent flavor — a solid 5+ — and a pleasant aroma. Taste is very similar to the standard Serbian Oxheart, but the flesh is slightly denser. Extremely productive, very tasty — an outstanding variety! First introduced by Bill Minkey (Wisconsin). A mid-season tomato with a purple-chocolate heart shape, olive-green at the base. Each truss bears 4-5 fruits weighing 250-450 grams.

Very beautiful, firm, meaty, and has good shelf life. The first fruits are broader hearts, while from the second truss they have a more pronounced pointed tip, forming a perfect heart. The variety performed impressively: fruits grew 1.5 times larger than last year, with significantly higher yields. I can now confidently say: plant it — you won’t regret it! The flesh is incredibly aromatic, deep purple, buttery, with a rich and vivid sweet-sour flavor. The plant reaches 1.0-1.3 meters tall, with a thick stem, requiring little attention or pruning.
