DWARF ROSELLA BICOLOR. A mid-season, exceptionally productive variety from the dwarf tomato series, valued for its impressive large fruits and excellent sweet flavour. The sturdy plant can reach 1.3 m in height, making it one of the tallest members of this group. It combines a compact growth habit with high productivity and is suitable for home gardens as well as market production. The fruits are large, flattened-round, smooth and even, usually weighing up to 300 g, with some reaching 500 g. Their striking appearance features a golden-yellow base decorated with pink and red streaks, which are also visible inside when the fruit is cut.
The flesh is dense, juicy and meaty, with pronounced sweetness and bright fruity notes. The tomatoes have excellent visual appeal and remain on the plant for a long time without losing quality, making them suitable for sale. The variety belongs to the Rosella family, which also includes the popular Dwarf Rosella Purple. It was developed through targeted crossbreeding and repeated selection, combining the traits of dwarf tomatoes with wrinkled potato leaves and those of large, bicolour beefsteak tomatoes. Rosella Bicolor is appreciated for its reliable productivity, attractive colouring and sweet taste. It also has good resistance to the main diseases affecting tomatoes.
