DWARF SOUL PATCH. An early and high-yielding tomato variety from the “Dwarf Tomato Project.” In open ground, plants reach about 60 cm. in height and do not require pruning. The fruits are ochre-colored, weigh 40–50 grams, and are completely uniform. They have a sweet flavor, with juicy and dense flesh.
The variety was created by American breeder Blane Horton. The taste is rated 5 out of 5, and the yield is also rated 5. The fruits are small and slightly flattened at the poles. Their color is orange-ochre with green shoulders. These are dwarf-type plants with limited growth, recommended for multi-stem cultivation.
The flesh is juicy, with plenty of gel and seeds. The flavor is rich yet mild. The plants have potato-type leaves. The yield is good, especially early in the season. The plants are upright, with green potato foliage, and show strong disease resistance. Growth is determinate and depends on vigor and available space.
