DWARF STONY BROOK SPECKLED. A spectacular and productive variety from the famous Dwarf Tomato Project series. Compact yet powerful, the bush reaches about 1 meter in height, making it an excellent choice for both open ground and greenhouse or container cultivation. The variety is mid-season and consistently forms a large number of fruits. The fruits are very decorative: elongated plum-shaped with a neat "point," deep red with bright golden-yellow stripes. The skin is smooth and dense, thanks to which the tomatoes are resistant to cracking and tolerate transportation well.
The fruit weight ranges from 100-250 g. The flesh is dense, meaty, with a small number of seeds, making these tomatoes especially valuable for fresh consumption and processing. The taste is rich, harmoniously balanced: pronounced sweetness with a light tomato acidity, very pleasant and "full-bodied." The variety is relatively new and has an interesting origin. It belongs to the Worry family and was obtained as a result of crossing Speckled Roman and Wherokowhai (the work of breeder Craig LeHoullier). Selected and named by Gina McDermott, officially presented to the public in 2022. An excellent choice for collectors.
