DWARF STRIPED BALKAN TIGER. Tall, mid-season, high-yielding variety. Exhibits increased resistance to late blight and a prolonged fruiting period lasting until frost. Each cluster bears 6–9 fruits, with plants heavily laden. The fruits are very attractive, juicy, sweet, and delicious. Taste rating: 5 stars; yield rating: 5 stars.
Like some other blue-fruited varieties, it may exhibit segregation and show some instability. A variety that breaks all stereotypes. Firstly, dwarf tomatoes are rarely early, but this variety is early. Secondly, dwarf plants are typically determinate and low-growing, but this one reaches 1.6 meters in open ground! Moreover, each cluster sets no fewer than 7–9 fruits weighing 55–60 g.
The fruits are round-elongated, resembling small hearts. The plant is simply covered with fruits and continues to bear until frost. Fruit color is red, more like reddish-brick, with thin golden stripes across the surface. Inside, the flesh is rich red, very tasty, and quite sweet! Top marks for yield!
