E.T. A variety of American origin with an unusual name, the meaning of which remains a mystery. Medium-sized, mid-season, very productive. The plant is indeterminate, vigorous, with regular foliage, characterized by long and stable fruiting from mid-season until frost. The fruits are of the beefsteak type, weighing 200-250 g (sometimes around 300 g), flat-round in shape, with pronounced ribbing at the top and rounded shoulders.
The coloration is bicolor: yellow-orange with a pink blush, more intense in the lower part of the fruit. The flesh is bicolor, yellow-orange with pink veins, fleshy, and juicy. The taste is very good, sweet, with a light piquant note and a barely perceptible bitterness that adds depth. The variety is valued for its ornamentality, high yield, and excellent taste qualities.
