EI VON PHUKET, Thailand. Indeterminate, mid-season, consistently productive and rare variety. Fruits are small “melon-like” tomatoes. Initially green, then turning white, gradually becoming light pink, and at full maturity developing a soft pink hue. The flesh is firm, the skin is thick, the taste is pleasant with a mild acidity. Dense texture, resistant to cracking.
An extremely rare and early variety — even at full ripeness, it retains a unique pale pink shade both inside and out. There is no other variety like it. The fruit has a classic smooth plum shape, ripens evenly, with no hard shoulders. Color is delicate matte pink. Fruits are dense, meaty, yet juicy, with a firm skin.
The plant grows up to 1.6 meters tall and holds its fruit well. Each cluster has 5–6 fruits weighing 30–40 g. Very high yield. The flavor is rich: sweet with spicy undertones, each small tomato containing all the most delicious flavor notes. A wonderful variety! It continues fruiting right up to frost.
