JARSON-1, Poland. Last year we were impressed by this variety — from its attractive appearance to its remarkable taste. However, the yield was small and late. This season, the variety has fully revealed its qualities, and we are happy to share the results with you. These are mid-late tomatoes with green-red coloring and a slightly flattened heart shape. The plants grow up to 1.7 meters tall; they are wide and sprawling. The leaves are dense and slightly drooping. Usually, each cluster forms 3-4 fruits weighing between 220 and 300 grams.
The tomatoes are medium-sized, heart-shaped, with very juicy flesh and a rich taste. They are often used for salads, sauces, and canning. The fruit shape is elegant and beautiful — broad-hearted and bright. Longitudinal ribs run along the entire length of the fruit from base to tip. Towards the top, the heart slightly flattens and becomes pointed. The plant is disease-resistant and does not tend to crack. Inside, the flesh is juicy and aromatic, with a bright, rich taste that is sweet with a subtle spicy and tangy note. We recommend it as an excellent new variety!
FEATURES OF YARSON-1
Fruits can vary from large, heart-flattened ridges to perfectly refined heart shapes — all on the same bush! With a large number of clusters, the variety fully reveals its creativity. The fruit color is green-red ridge-hearts, and the intensity of the color depends directly on sunlight. Towards the top, some fruits slightly flatten and become pointed. The plants do not get sick and do not crack. The flesh inside is fantastically juicy and highly aromatic. This is the variety you want to eat whole and immediately!
The skin is very thin and almost imperceptible, so the fruits do not store long — it seems made to prevent the fruit from bursting due to the abundance of juice. Regarding taste, it is bright and rich, fruity-sweet with a pronounced and strong spicy note — simply amazing! There are few seed chambers and little seed. Thanks to its juicy flesh and rich taste, "Yarson-1" tomatoes are often used for sauces, juices, and other preserves. Top marks for beauty and taste! Highly recommended!
GROWING:
This variety belongs to a specific line of hybrid tomatoes. For successful cultivation, follow these recommendations:
-
Site selection: Choose a sunny, well-lit location. Tomatoes require plenty of light for full development.
-
Soil preparation: Enrich the soil with compost or humus, ensure good drainage.
-
Seedling planting: Plant seedlings so that 2-3 leaves remain above the soil. Maintain recommended spacing between plants.
-
Support and staking: Install supports for plants and tie stems as they grow.
-
Watering: Regularly moisten the soil, avoiding overwatering and water stagnation.
-
Fertilizing: Feed plants with fertilizers rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium according to instructions.
-
Pest and disease control: Conduct regular inspections and apply protection measures if necessary.
-
Removing suckers: Trim side shoots to improve ventilation and focus energy on fruiting.
-
Harvesting: Pick tomatoes when they reach optimal ripeness — this allows plants to continue fruiting longer.
-
Winter preparation: Before cold weather, remove plants and debris from the area.
By following these tips, you will successfully grow the "Yarson-1" variety.
