HONEY AVENUE, MEDUS AVENIJA. This variety was developed by our friend — the famous Latvian breeder and collector Valdis Puliņš. A very bright and mid-season variety with unique flesh. The bush grows up to 1.5 m in open ground, characterized by strong stems and thick leaves. Each cluster forms 3-4 fruits weighing between 400 and 500 g, with above-average yield.
The fruit shape is flattened beefsteak with orange-red bicolor coloring. The longer they stay on the bush, the richer the flesh and sweeter the taste. The main color is bright yellow, with a dense red “cap” blush spreading from the base. The fruits are firm, free of damage, do not crack, and are disease-resistant.
When cut open, a strong spicy aroma is revealed, with yellow-orange flesh highlighted by beautiful red rays. The taste is aromatic and sweet. Shape — flattened beefsteak with orange-pink bicolor. The flesh and taste deserve the highest marks! Simply superb! Highly recommended.
