SICILIAN SAUCER. This is a family heirloom from Italy. An excellent mid-season variety. The bush reaches 1.7 meters, sturdy, with a moderately sprawling crown. Clusters consist of 4-5 bright red beefsteak fruits. The first tomato weighed 525 grams, the others on the bush weigh about 600 to 900 grams (the photo shows that the green fruits are larger). The yield is definitely above average! It is recommended to train the bush into 1-2 stems.
The fruit shape is a flattened "slipper," without a single crack, not even a hint of a green stem — all fruits fully ripen! The skin is of medium thickness, inside there are many seed cavities, the flesh is dense and juicy with a watermelon-like tone. The tomatoes literally melt in your mouth, the taste is rich and harmonious — a true tomato flavor, just as it should be! The aroma when cut is fantastic! Even those who usually don’t like tomatoes won’t be able to resist!
