EVERGREEN. Seeds of this variety began selling in Ohio (USA) back in 1956, and since then it has earned a reputation as one of the best among gardeners thanks to its resilience, excellent yield, and unique appearance. It is a mid-season, tall, and very productive tomato variety. In open ground, the plant grows up to 1.5 meters tall, and in greenhouses it can reach up to 1.8 meters. The bushes are strong and require staking and pruning.
Fruits are large, weighing between 150 and 350 grams, round or slightly flattened in shape. A distinctive feature is their unusual coloring — green skin with an amber blush and light green, almost lettuce-colored, dense and very juicy flesh. The flavor is rich, fruity, with a slight sweetness and a barely noticeable acidity, rated 4 out of 5 for taste.
Ideal for fresh consumption, salads, and cold appetizers. This tomato offers high productivity and stable fruiting even in unfavorable conditions. Suitable for growing both outdoors and in greenhouses. The variety is resistant to major tomato diseases when basic agricultural practices are followed.
