EVIL OLIVE. Mid-season (mid-late), determinate, high-yield tomato variety. The plants are compact and low-growing, reaching 80-100 cm in height. Leaves are simple, without deep lobes — typical of cultivated tomatoes. The plant is neat, easy to care for, and suitable for both open field and greenhouse cultivation.
The flavor is very unusual — complex and multi-layered. THE MAIN FEATURE IS ITS UNUSUAL FRUITING PATTERN. The first fruit cluster is reminiscent of the famous 'Yubileyniy Tarasenko' variety — producing around 50 or more fruits per cluster, mostly uniform in size. Despite the consistent weight (30-60 grams), fruit shapes vary from round to slightly elongated.
FLAVOR AND ORIGIN
The fruit has a highly decorative and original appearance. On the outside, it’s green-yellow-orange with dark green stripes. When sliced, it reveals a vibrant palette of brown, orange, green, and red shades. This makes it especially attractive for salads and fresh plates. The flesh is juicy, dense, and has a fruity, slightly tart flavor. The taste is balanced — moderately sweet with a touch of acidity.
It’s a difficult flavor to describe precisely — it depends on growing conditions, ripeness, and how it's consumed — but it always leaves a strong impression. The exact origin is unknown. The seeds were purchased in the United States, giving the variety an exotic and slightly European character. Ideal for gourmets and collectors of rare tomato varieties.
