FAVORIE DE BRETAGNE. A unique creeping tomato with a carpet-type growth habit, which looks equally spectacular both in open ground and in hanging baskets, planters, and containers. An ideal choice for decorative plantings and original garden design. Initially, the plants form a compact bush only 20-25 cm tall, after which they actively spread sideways, forming a dense green carpet on the ground up to 1 meter in diameter. Thanks to this growth type, the variety is excellent for cascade cultivation — the shoots hang beautifully, studded with numerous fruits.
The leaves are thin, narrow, giving the plant an elegant and neat appearance. The bushes are very leafy yet not dense, well-ventilated, and resistant to unfavorable conditions. The fruits are small, weighing 15-25 g — these are actual figures confirmed by our measurements, not averaged data from catalogs. The yield is very high: the plant is literally covered with dozens of fruits. The fruit shape is plum-like, with a pronounced pointed tip, very decorative. At full ripeness, the coloration is unusual and attractive — a green-olive base with bright yellow and orange streaks, each fruit looks different.
The flesh is green, juicy, of delicate texture. The taste is very sweet, with pronounced notes of exotic fruits, without sharp acidity. There is a pleasant, rich aroma, making the variety a true delicacy for fresh consumption. This is not just a tomato, but a decorative-taste discovery: super-yielding, sweet, exotic in taste and appearance, perfectly suited for hanging baskets, borders, containers, and carpet plantings. A true favorite for those who love unusual and beautiful tomatoes.
