FIERY HEARTS. A tomato variety from Latvian breeder Valdis Pulinš. This is a unique mid-season indeterminate tomato suitable for both open field and greenhouse cultivation. In open ground, the plant reaches about 1.5 meters in height, forming a strong bush with good foliage and steady growth. Ideal for fresh consumption as well as processing.
The fruits have an attractive, regular heart shape with slightly visible ribbing, giving them a very appealing appearance. The average weight ranges from 100 to 300 grams, although with proper care, some fruits may grow even larger. The color is a rich golden yellow with a soft pink blush, especially on the sun-exposed side.
The skin is thick and firm, making the fruits transportable and resistant to cracking. The flesh is meaty, very juicy, and aromatic. The taste is rich, sweet, with fruity notes, and rates a full 5 out of 5 on the flavor scale. Fruits become especially sweet and flavorful when fully ripened on the vine. The variety is known for its stable yield.
