FLAME. A bicolor variety with a truly fiery coloration of the fruits. The exact origin of the variety is not established; according to one version, it is a heritage from West Virginia (USA). In some sources, it is found under the name Flame Hillbilly, however, it is not related to the Hillbilly variety. The plant is indeterminate, vigorous, with great growth potential, reaching about 1.8 m in height. The bushes are easy to train, have regular leaves, and are distinguished by good growth strength. The yield is stable, with the main harvest occurring in the second half of the season.
The fruits are large, beefsteak type, weighing from 200 to 600 g, under favorable conditions individual specimens can reach 800 g. The shape varies depending on size: smaller fruits are round and slightly ribbed, large ones are flattened with pronounced rounded shoulders. The coloration is exceptionally striking — a yellow-yellow-orange base, covered with pink-red blush and shimmers. In cross-section, the flesh is yellow, marbled, with pink-red streaks in the center.
Seeds are few. The appearance of the fruits is truly impressive — the variety belongs to the category of the most beautiful bicolors. The taste is excellent: sweet, rich, with a subtle fruity note and harmonious acidity. The flesh is meaty, juicy, with a delicate texture, perfect for fresh salads and impressive presentation. This is a combination of expressive appearance, large fruit size, and rich flavor. A true "fiery" accent in a collection of rare tomatoes.
