GELION. Is a promising tomato variety with excellent market and flavor qualities. The fruits are very fleshy and firm, with a rich, classic tomato taste and an average weight of 120-150 g. Thanks to the high pulp content and minimal juice, the tomatoes are perfectly suited for both fresh consumption and processing. The plant is strong and well-leafed, forming a stable, compact bush about 70 cm high, making the variety convenient for cultivation in open ground as well as in greenhouses. The dense foliage reliably protects the fruits from sunscald and promotes even, stable ripening.
The fruits are plum-shaped, uniform, with an attractive deep red color, dense skin, and meaty texture. The variety is distinguished by increased resistance to major tomato diseases, ensuring reliable yields even under unfavorable conditions. Special attention should be given to its excellent transportability: the fruits tolerate storage and transportation well without loss of appearance or quality. A universal-purpose variety, ideal for fresh salads, whole-fruit canning, sauces, pastes, and juice.
