GIANT BELGIUM — a large mid-season variety. The plant is moderately strong but very productive. Grows to 1.3 meters, with 3–4 fruits per cluster and high yields. Fruits are flattened with plump shoulders at the stem, uniform in shape. The skin is thin and unnoticeable when eating. A mid-height, mid-season, large-fruited, high-yielding variety with strong plants.
Flavor is excellent, the flesh is sweet with no hard spots near the stem. Fruits do not crack, even after a week of autumn rain. This tomato has few seeds. Fruits are flat-round, red, weighing 300–600 g. Some can exceed 1 kg. On international tomato forums, the variety is highly praised. They say: “Giant Belgium so sweet, some growers use them to make wine.”
