GIANT ITALIAN WHOPPER. An impressive large-fruited variety of American breeding. In open ground conditions, plants reach a height of over 1.5 meters, forming powerful, well-leafed bushes. The variety is mid-season. The plants are distinguished by exceptional growth vigor: the stems are thick, sturdy, stable, and perfectly withstand significant fruit load without loss of viability. Overall yield is very high — consistently at the "5+" level. The fruits are very large, with an average weight of about 600 g; with good care, individual specimens reach 900-1000 g.
The fruit shape is meaty, large, classic for beefsteak tomatoes. The main color is deep red, while a color variation was observed on the plants: some fruits form in a pink shade, with full preservation of all other characteristics — size, taste, structure, and yield. The flesh is extremely meaty, dense, and at the same time juicy, with a minimal number of seeds. The taste is rich, full, classic tomato, without wateriness, with pronounced sweetness and pleasant acidity. The fruits are ideally suited for fresh salads, slicing, sandwiches, thick juices, sauces, and home processing.
