GIANT ORANGE. A variety bred by V.A. Pepelyaev (Ukraine), which fully lives up to its name. The plant is exceptionally vigorous and tall, with strong growth energy already at the seedling stage — in the greenhouse, it noticeably outpaces other varieties in development and bush strength. The fruits truly resemble a giant orange — large, uniform, bright orange, showy, and very marketable. The average weight is 350-400 g, and the variety is distinguished by an amazing uniformity: there are practically no small fruits, the harvest is even and stable.
Requires staking and training to achieve maximum results. The flesh is dense, meaty, of a slightly loose structure, juicy, with a harmonious rich taste that can confidently be rated 5 points. The fruits are firm, without a tendency to crack and without blemishes, tolerate long-distance transportation excellently, and store well. The variety became the champion of 2025 in terms of harvested yield, confirming its high productivity and commercial potential. It is distinguished by its large fruit size, uniformity, transportability, shelf life, and attractiveness.
