GLACIAL ZEBRA – yellow-green tomato. Medium-height, mid-early, very productive variety. Potato leaf type, charming fruits with original coloring. Beautiful bright yellow-green striped fruits. Fruit shape ranges from flattened to round. Bush up to 0.7 m, trouble-free, does not require attention or pruning.
The last variety created by Tom Wagner by crossing the famous “Green Zebra” with “Glacier”, a cold-resistant, early, and productive Swedish variety. The fruits are flattened at the tips, ribbed at the top, with rounded shoulders on the largest ones. Each cluster bears 5–7 fruits weighing 120–150 g.
TOMATO FLAVOR
Very similar to Green Zebra, but with a more contrasting green color. Excellent, original flavor with a slight tartness. The plant is moderately vigorous, with potato leaves, indeterminate growth. Excellent, long-lasting and consistent production from mid-season. It inherited the ability to fruit in low temperatures from its Swedish parent.
Well-adapted to regions with cool summers and/or short seasons. Yellow flesh with large seed cavities. Flavor is bright, rich, tomatoey, juicy, sweet and sour, aromatic and very pleasant. Very juicy green flesh with a tangy taste and slight acidity. Bears fruit until frost.
