GOLDEN WASP. An early-ripening hot pepper variety suitable for growing in open ground and under film covers. The plant is compact, about 25-30 cm tall, with long spreading shoots up to 40 cm. The fruits are cone-shaped, 7-10 cm long, thin-walled, elegant, with very decorative coloration: during ripening, they become bright yellow-orange, often with purple streaks and hues.
The taste is hot, from medium to high heat, with a pleasant aroma. The flesh is tender, with few seeds, which is convenient for processing. The variety is excellent as a seasoning for meat and vegetable dishes, for pickling and canning. It is valued for its ornamentality, piquant taste, and versatility of use. The variety is characterized by good productivity.
