GREEN BELL PEPPER. A rare and unusual variety bred by Tom Wagner, which is still considered unstabilized and therefore particularly interesting for collectors and connoisseurs of rarities. The plant is powerful, very vigorous, with thick, sturdy stems, reaching about 1.2 m in height in open ground. The bush forms long, dark green shoots with abundant foliage and a horizontal growth habit. Growing in two stems is recommended. In some places on the stems, root initials may form, indicating the plant's high vitality. The fruits are small, pepper-shaped cubic, broadly ribbed, weighing about 100 g. The variety demonstrates interesting variability: some fruits form almost hollow, others – dense, fleshy, and juicy. The flesh is dense and meaty.
Inside, there are usually 2 locules, sometimes half-empty, with a small amount of seeds and gel. The fruit color is decorative: at the technical ripeness stage, they are light green with darker green stripes and dark "shoulders." As they ripen, a light amber hue appears, and at full ripeness, the fruits become orange-yellow. Externally, it is a true masterpiece – the combination of green and warm orange tones makes the variety exceptionally spectacular. The taste is unusual, with refreshing notes reminiscent of the Green Zebra tomato aroma. The yield is moderate until the very frosts. The fruits are prone to cracking. This variety is valued not so much for the quantity of the harvest, but for its originality, decorative appeal, and breeding uniqueness.
