GREEN BOMBS. This is a mid-season variety that is especially valued for its excellent flavor. The plant is vigorous and indeterminate, reaching about 2 m in height, so it requires support and staking during cultivation. The variety has a long fruiting period and can continue producing a harvest almost until the first frosts.
The fruits are elongated plum-shaped, weighing approximately 150–200 g. When ripe, they develop a beautiful green color with a warm amber hue. The tomatoes are very juicy, sweet, and tender, with pleasantly melt-in-your-mouth flesh. Thanks to their unusual color and excellent flavor, they are perfect for fresh consumption.
The variety also performs very well in home preserving. The fruits can be canned whole and retain their pleasant flavor after processing, making them an excellent addition to winter preserves. Their versatility allows the harvest to be used for fresh salads and slicing as well as for canning.
Another notable feature is the high yield: under favorable conditions and with proper cultivation, one plant can produce up to 15 kg of fruit. Long-lasting fruiting, unusual green-and-amber coloring, large plum-shaped tomatoes, and exceptionally sweet flavor make this variety an interesting choice for lovers of delicious and unusual tomatoes.
