GREEN GRAPE BEYOND, Australia–USA. A breeding variety developed under the guidance of American breeder Tom Wagner. It is the result of a cross between two popular green varieties: Green Grape and Beyond Verde Claro. This is a cherry-type tomato: small fruits, 2 to 3 cm in diameter, round or oval in shape, light green in color with a delicate translucent skin (green epidermis). Fruits ripen in clusters of 12, very uniform and neat.
Fruit weight ranges from 15 to 30 grams. The plants are indeterminate (unlimited growth), tall, reaching up to 1.8 m in open ground. The bushes are vigorous, densely leafed, with very high yields. They are early-ripening and have a long fruiting period. The taste is reminiscent of candy — incredibly sweet and fragrant, with fruity notes and almost no acidity.
On the sweetness scale: 5 points with two pluses! The fruits are crack-resistant, store well, and have dense yet tender flesh. The variety shows excellent resistance to diseases and stress. One of the sweetest green tomatoes. Seeds were purchased from an original source in the USA, ensuring varietal purity and true-to-type characteristics.
