GREEN TIGER (GREEN TIGER), USA. The variety was developed by Fred Hempel from California. A rare medium-early exotic. The clusters are simple and compound, with 5–7 fruits or more. The fruit shape is elongated plum with a truncated tip, weighing 30–40 g and 3–4 cm long. These are green plums with yellow stripes and streaks, which turn orange and red when fully ripe.
Highly productive, medium-early, and tall-growing variety (the bush reaches 1.8 m in height). Small elongated fruits weighing 40 g, red-green in color with more intense green stripes. The flesh is green and very sweet, with a candy-like taste. The variety is for fresh consumption but also good for canning.
It produces fruit in any weather until frost. The taste is excellent—very sweet and juicy! An original and beautiful high-yielding variety, it looks great in a jar! It’s perfect for both eating fresh and canning. The ripe fruits are shown in the photo. Highest rating for taste and sweetness!
