HANUMA. A tall, high-yielding tomato variety that attracts attention with its large fruits and unusual yellow-orange or honey-golden coloring. The indeterminate plants reach approximately 1.5–2 m in height, so they require support and tying during cultivation. This variety is valued for its good productivity and the original appearance of its tomatoes.
The fruits are round or flat-round, sometimes slightly elongated and plum-shaped. They weigh 300–400 g on average, while some tomatoes can reach 400–500 g. Their color ranges from rich yellow to honey-orange, often enhanced by golden stripes, streaks, or a subtle pink blush on the upper part of the fruit. This combination of colors gives the tomatoes a particularly striking appearance.
The flesh is firm, meaty, and sugary, with pronounced sweetness and a slight tang. The fruits have a pleasant aroma and are excellent for fresh eating, salads, and vegetable platters. Yellow-orange tomatoes generally contain lower levels of certain organic acids than red-fruited varieties.
Depending on growing conditions, this variety may be classified as early or mid-season. Approximately 100–110 days pass from emergence to the beginning of the first harvest. It is an excellent choice for those who love large, sweet, unusually colored tomatoes and appreciate a combination of high productivity, meaty flesh, and striking appearance.
