HATHO. A tomato variety developed by Good Mind Seeds (USA), an original selection by Phil Senecal. This is a mid-season, tall, and exceptionally productive variety that stands out not only for its outstanding flavor but also for its unique appearance. The plants have a semi-determinate growth habit, allowing them to stay compact without becoming overly vigorous. In protected environments, the plant height often exceeds 1.6 meters.
The foliage is especially eye-catching — dark green with a pronounced anthocyanin (bluish-purple) hue and a potato-leaf structure, giving the plant an ornamental look and setting it apart from other tomato varieties. The fruits are round, green with an amber (orange-golden) blush, sometimes showing a subtle marbled pattern. The flavor is rich, sweet, and intense. As the season progresses, the fruits become even sweeter toward autumn. It features consistent and high productivity, bearing fruit abundantly and continuously from mid-season until the first frosts.
