HEATHERINGTON PINK. A tall, mid-season, and high-yielding tomato variety, perfectly suited for both personal cultivation and commercial production. In open ground, the plants reach about 1.5 meters in height, developing strong bushes with good foliage and excellent resistance to major diseases. This super-variety is ideal for the market due to its attractive appearance, good transportability, and shelf life.
The fruits are dense, meaty, with a very thick skin, resistant to cracking and not prone to spotting. They feature a rich pink color, glossy skin, and excellent commercial appeal. The average fruit weight ranges from 200 to 400 grams, with several large tomatoes forming in each cluster.
Inside, the tomatoes are multi-chambered, juicy, with a strong aroma and rich sweet flavor. Occasionally, double (fused) blossoms produce irregularly shaped fruits, but the majority are even, neat, and very beautiful. The variety is known for its consistently high yields throughout the growing season.
