HOT CHOCOLATE. An original mid-season hot pepper variety with a decorative appearance and good yield. The plant is compact, with dark foliage, suitable for growing both in open ground and greenhouses, as well as in flower pots. The fruits are long, slender, initially purple-chocolate in color, and become dark red when fully ripe.
The period from planting to ripening is about 90-110 days. The peppers are hot, with a rich flavor. They are excellent for fresh use, making sauces, drying, and processing. The variety is valued for its combination of ornamentality, ease of cultivation, and bright spiciness.
