INDIGO PEAR DROPS YELLOW. A recent tomato variety. The plants are vigorous, strong, and densely foliated, reaching up to 1.5 meters in height when grown outdoors. The leaves are of the potato-leaf type but medium-sized, giving the plants a neat and compact appearance. The fruits grow in long trusses of 8-10 tomatoes, forming impressive grape-like clusters — true tomato garlands. Each tomato weighs approximately 22-25 grams.
The shape is elongated, up to 7 cm in length. A distinctive feature of the variety is the rich anthocyanin blush on the fruits, giving them a highly decorative look. This variety is extremely productive. When cut, each fruit appears to glow from the inside due to its vibrant and beautiful flesh. The skin has a deep color with purple or anthocyanin hues.
The flesh is juicy, bright, and visually appealing. The taste is excellent — sweet, rich, and full of juice. The walls are of medium thickness, making the fruits pleasant to eat — neither watery nor tough. Ideal for fresh consumption, for decorating dishes, and for whole-fruit canning.
