INDIGO ROSE. A mid-season variety with unusually striking fruit coloration. The plant forms a bush up to 1.5 m tall and produces a good crop. This variety is especially appealing to gardeners who enjoy original tomatoes with unusual coloring. Throughout the season, the plants produce plenty of attractive fruits.
The tomatoes are small, weighing approximately 30–60 g, with a round shape. As they ripen, they develop a deep blue-black color, while areas protected from direct sunlight retain a lighter red-pink coloration. This contrast creates an unusual two-tone pattern on each fruit. The skin looks very attractive and becomes especially striking in the sunlight.
The ripe fruits have red-pink, juicy and pleasant flesh. Their flavor is good and slightly sweet, with a characteristic tomato aroma. The fruits contain quite a lot of seeds, which is one of the variety’s distinctive features. The small tomatoes are convenient for fresh eating, salads and vegetable appetizers. Their bright coloration makes them especially attractive when served.
Thanks to their unusual coloration, the plants become a real decoration for the garden. The dark skin of the fruits contains anthocyanins, which are natural antioxidants. For good growth, it is enough to provide a sunny location, regular watering and feeding. This variety is an interesting choice for those who want to combine good productivity, pleasant flavor and an unusual appearance.
