JACKASS YELLOW DWARF. A medium-height, mid-season variety with strong, thick stems. Plant height up to 0.7 meters. The fruits have an interesting color: light yellow with orange and red blushes, and at full ripeness, a slight amber hue. Fruits are medium-sized (100–300 g), flattened, ribbed near the stem, with stunning color and flavor.
This is one of the many selections developed by John Beedler in the state of Connecticut. A dwarf plant producing abundant yields. Small, beefsteak-shaped, sweet golden tomatoes. Sunshine in your mouth. Perfect for those practicing container gardening and who love yellow tomatoes. The flesh is yellow, juicy, with small seed cavities.
Do not let the fruits over-ripen. Overripe fruits become too soft and lose their flavor. Fruits are flattened, ribbed at the top, with wavy or even puffy shoulders. The flesh is juicy with small locules. A typical "yellow tomato" flavor. A vigorous dwarf plant with spreading growth, regular foliage, and indeterminate habit.
