KARMA PURPLE. Mid-season, medium-height, very productive variety with large potato-leaf foliage. The fruits are glossy and of a rare color. The taste is slightly spicy and sweet, fruity, with an elusive twist and a pleasant aroma. Everyone can find something personal in its flavor. The flesh is of medium density but has an unusual texture. We rate the flavor 5 out of 5, but of course, taste is subjective.
An early variety from the “Karma” series — a line of tomatoes with a high sugar content, developed by breeders Karen Oliver (Canada) and Marsha Eisenberg (USA). The fruits are quite firm, 40–60 g, do not crack or get sick, sweet with a tangy note, juicy and very tasty. Clusters are semi-complex, 10–14 fruits in each. The plant grows to 1.3 meters, has true potato-type leaves, and produces an above-average yield.
